In general, the tests need to be processed between three and five days before the flight departure but you will need to check with your airline or travel agent and read the most up-to-date guidance on the Foreign Office website.
Samples are returned via Royal Mail Priority Post Monday to Friday and should reach the lab in the following 24 hours. The laboratory will undertake the tests and usually provide results within 24 hours of receipt of sample in most cases. Please check which date you need to test to meet your particular requirements for your airline. If you need to test on a Saturday or Sunday, this service may not be suitable for you. All customers purchasing these tests must use their own judgement about the appropriate date to purchase, carry out and post the tests to meet the airline requirements. We cannot take responsibility for any test timelines, delays and associated outcomes or losses affecting travel.
